Friday, November 17, 2006
9:00 am - 4:00pm
CH2M Hill Alumni Center
Oregon State University

Welcome!

The 2006 Information Literacy Summit brings teaching faculty, librarians and information technologists together to share ideas and discuss our students’ common needs in the area of Information Literacy. As our degree partnerships make it easier for students to move freely between our respective campuses, how can we work together to make sure they master those skills and competencies they need to ensure academic success and life-long learning?

The day of the Summit will focus on conversation and idea sharing, with the initial objective of identifying common goals for Information Literacy competencies. Our hope is that the commonalities identified during the Summit will be the basis for an on-going collaboration among interested parties from each of our institutions.
